Ravi, a depressed person is spending his life mourning over his lost love. He encounters a young woman who is hellbent to expose the fake gurus running ashrams. Ravi makes it a purpose of his life to save her from the upcoming events of life and death.
Sadak 2 is an extension of the Old Hindi Movie Sadak that launched in 1991. It was Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt starrer. The previous movie released under the “Vishesh Films” banner. The filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has made his comeback with Sadak 2 after 20 years.

The trailer shows the deep love that Sanjay Dutt had with Pooja Bhatt in Sadak. The sudden appearance of Alia Bhatt seems to give the impression that there is a relationship between the dead Pooja Bhatt and Alia Bhatt in the story. Unfortunately, it is not yet clear from the trailer of Sadak 2. From the overly emotional scenes to fighting the fake gurus, the story takes a drastic turn.
The theme looks promising, but, Aditya Roy Kapoor, smiling throughout the trailer, kind of gives the impression of a supporting actor. Hoping to see him at the actual frontline. The songs are pretty soulful and romantic. The singers have celebrated the love and emotions in an accurate manner to reach the hearts of the audience.
As soon as the first banner of the movie was out, it faced vote brigading under “Nepotism”. Mahesh Bhatt was already linked to the case of Sushant Rajput. Sooner the comment section was seen flooded with hateful words for Alia Bhatt. People demanded “Justice for Sushant” in the comments and all over social media.
Within the first week of the release of the trailer of Sadak 2, it became the second most disliked video on youtube. Negative publicity is also publicity. However, the movie will release on Disney+ Hotstar on 28 August 2020.
